Supplies & Eligibility

Food & Supplies

Food availability varies based on what we rescue from suppliers, but charity partners typically receive a diverse range of items. Here's what we commonly distribute:

  • Rice, noodles, and pasta
  • Oats and cereals
  • Bakery goods
  • Dairy products
  • Snacks
  • Vegetables and fruits
  • Cooking oil and condiments
  • Beverages
  • Household items
  • Personal care items

Types of Organisations We Support

  • Community Shelters: Transitional housing programmes and homeless shelters.
  • Rehabilitation Centres: Addiction recovery facilities and halfway homes.
  • Elderly Care Homes: Old folks' homes and senior care centres.
  • Orphanages: Children's shelters and protective care facilities.
  • Educational Institutions: Schools serving underprivileged students and special needs education centres.
  • Community Groups: Orang Asli community centres, B40 family support groups, and disability service organisations.

Subject to availability

What we provide depends entirely on what we rescue from suppliers. Some months bring abundance of certain items; other months bring different products. We communicate availability in advance so you can plan accordingly.

No guaranteed specific items

We cannot promise you'll receive specific products every month.

Quality assurance

All food items are checked for safety, quality, and appropriate storage before distribution. We follow strict food safety protocols aligned with Global FoodBanking Network standards.

We welcome applications from registered non-profit organisations serving vulnerable communities. Review these requirements to see if your organisation qualifies.

  • Either to collect food from our distribution centres or arrange delivery coordination
  • Commitment to proper food handling and safety protocols to protect beneficiary health
  • Willingness to provide monthly reports on food distribution to maintain transparency

Not sure if you qualify?

Apply anyway. We review each application individually and can sometimes make exceptions for organisations doing exceptional work, even if you don't meet every criterion perfectly. The worst we can say is "not yet," and we'll guide you on steps to become eligible in the future.

Application Process

Our application process typically takes 2-4 weeks.

  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Our team verifies your registration and reviews your needs.
  3. Brief assessment of your facilities and operations.
  4. Sign MOU outlining food supply schedule and responsibilities
  5. Begin regular food collection or delivery

What To Expect

We don't just drop off food and disappear. Our team maintains regular contact to ensure food quality and appropriateness.

You'll also submit simple monthly reports (just basic numbers: items received, beneficiaries served) to help us track impact and maintain transparency with our donors.

Who You'll Work With

Our charity partnerships are guided by dedicated coordinators who understand your needs. You’ll work directly with this team throughout the application process and food supply setup.

Your Questions Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is there any cost to become a charity partner?

No. Partnership is completely free. You do not need to pay for the food. Collection and delivery will be covered by us upon agreement of the logistics arrangement. This is genuine charitable support funded by our donors and corporate partners.

  • How often will we receive food?

Distribution frequency depends on our capacity and your needs, typically weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We'll agree on a schedule during the application process and can adjust as circumstances change.

  • Can we choose what food items we receive?

We accommodate preferences and dietary requirements where possible, but food availability depends on what we rescue from suppliers. We'll prioritise your needs within the constraints of what's available.

  • Do we need special storage facilities?

You need basic dry storage at minimum. If you can accommodate refrigerated or frozen items, we'll provide those as well. We assess storage during the site visit and match food types to your capabilities.

  • What reporting is required?

Simple monthly reports indicating what you received and how many beneficiaries were served. This takes about 5-10 minutes to complete and can be submitted via form, email, or WhatsApp. We keep it simple.

  • Can new organisations apply?

Yes, though we typically require minimum 6 months operational history to ensure stability. If you're newly established but serving urgent needs, contact us directly. We may make exceptions or provide guidance on becoming eligible.

  • Can we share food with other organisations?

Food provided to your organisation should primarily serve your registered beneficiaries. However, if you occasionally have excess or receive items you can't use, coordinate with us first. We may redirect those items to other partners in need.
