About the Event
AmBank Family Run hosted over 2,300 AmBankers and family members, with special guests from the Malaysian Association for the Blind and Dual Blessings. The event was a true celebration of fun, fitness and family spirit.
The proceeds collected through the car boot sale were donated to five NGO charities, namely the Malaysian Association for the Blind, Dual Blessing, The Lost Food Project, Kechara Soup Kitchen and MySkills Foundation, who were also present with their booths at the Run.
Thank you AmBank for the kind donation of RM10,844. This donation will be used to build a new jetty for Kampung Orang Asli Atok at Kuala Tahan, Pahang, providing safe access for 26 Orang Asli families, over 200 individuals and 50 students for their daily commute and journey to school.
These initiatives collectively contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, namely No Poverty (SDG 1), Zero Hunger (SDG 2), Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) and Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11).
