About the Event

On 10 January 2026, Kechara Soup Kitchen partnered with Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad and Mawar Medical Centre for the fourth round of their Food Aid Distribution Programme, Foodbank Drive 4.0, at Arena Seremban. The initiative extended essential support to 41 underprivileged families across Seremban, Senawang, and Ampangan, forming part of an ongoing six-round programme funded through contributions raised during the first KSK collaboration.

Each family received a combined food and hygiene pack valued at RM340, packed with daily essentials to ease the burden of vulnerable households. What made this round particularly special was the addition of basic health screenings conducted by Mawar Medical Centre's medical team, covering blood pressure, blood glucose, BMI, visual acuity, and more, bringing meaningful care directly to the community beyond immediate food relief.

A dedicated team of 100 volunteers from Matrix Concepts, KSK, and partner organisations worked together from early morning to unload, pack, and distribute the aid. The event was graced by Ms Tan Sze Chee and Mr Robert Tay, Co-Chief Executive Officers of Matrix Concepts' Property Development Division, and Dr Ong Chiew Ping, Executive Director of the Healthcare Division at Mawar Medical Centre, whose presence reflected the organisation's strong cross-division commitment to community upliftment.

At KSK, we are deeply encouraged to see this partnership continue to grow in both depth and impact. When food aid is paired with healthcare, communities receive not just nourishment but genuine care. We are grateful to Matrix Concepts, Mawar Medical Centre, and all 100 volunteers who gave their time and heart to make Foodbank Drive 4.0 a success.
